[NEW in 2019] How can we ensure that literacy curriculum, instruction, and assessments work together in service of equitable outcomes for ALL students? This session explores the implications of recent research for the culturally responsive literacy classroom, including how we prioritize time within our literacy block, and how we use our data to drive strong instructional decisions that will support all students. Participants will walk away with an instructional coherence map for the first month of school that provides links to protocols and resources for planning, DDI, professional learning, and responsive teaching.
